Walyalup Bridge is opening on Sunday 1 November, and we’re celebrating at Tradewinds!

Join us for woodfired pizza from 12-8PM, live music from Wayne Glasson from 1PM, and drinks from our cocktail bar. Plus, enjoy a complimentary glass of sparkling for adults or a soft drink for the kids between 1-2PM.

There’s also a two-night stay at Tradewinds Hotel up for grabs, including breakfast and dinner for two and a session at Tribe Sauna + Ice. Simply visit the venue, make a purchase and scan the QR code to enter.

The new Walyalup Bridge marks an exciting milestone for Fremantle, replacing the historic traffic bridge that first opened in 1939. After around two years of construction, work is reaching its conclusion ahead of the bridge’s official opening on 1 November 2026. The new crossing is designed to improve connections across the Swan River, with two lanes in each direction and wider shared paths for pedestrians and cyclists.
